Played a similar role once, in Blackpool, while everyone else was stood around the bar laughing and joking and enjoying their first Blackpool beers, I played the role of "Guy sitting in bay window pretending to listen"

I added my own feel to the role though, I wanted to play it as a nervous guy anxiously watching the pints being poured, knowing that none of them were meant for me. Sadly, only got a Grammy for it.
