Still sober at this point.

I just don't know what to say.
Photos from the awards do are up on Facebook, later on I'll whack a few others on here plus some vids on both... There are some things I don't want my friends seeing what my other friends get up to.

Lol - that reminds me - not asking for yoghurt sauce on mine either.

Dirty little slapper (though possibly not deserving to be cut up and fed to pissed up football teams). I can't believe this story hasn't made absolute mainstream headlines...
Would have been better if her name was Donna
If we ever go back to Blackpool again there's no way in hell I'm eating a kebab...

The trial, now in its tenth week at Preston Crown Court, has heard Albattikhi owned Funny Boyz fast food shop in Blackpool.

Charlene was one a number of young white girls said to have had sex with older men who worked in the town's fast food shops.

Charlene spent her time hanging around shops on the Blackpool Promenade and was last seen on the early evening of Saturday November 1 2003.

After kissing her mother goodbye she went off on her own - and vanished off the face of the earth, the jury has heard.

A missing persons inquiry began, but police later launched a murder investigation after information "leaked out" that the girl had been "killed and chopped up".

Police bugged the defendant's flat and gathered tapes where he is alleged to have talked about having sex with Charlene, killing her and the body being eaten.

Albattikhi, a Jordanian immigrant, denies murder. His business partner and landlord Mohammed Reveshi, 50, originally from Iran, denies helping to dispose of the body.

Both men told the court they never knew Charlene.

The jury was sent home until Wednesday when it will resume its deliberation.
What a cock. I've got all the kit and Smurf's just noticed there are no numbers.

Cock it.
I tried on the shorts last night in a more realistic situation i.e. without jeans on underneath.

I think they'll be fine for most of us. I have pretty chunky thighs too, though not on the same scale as Lewis and they were fine around my waist and fine around my thighs, they just don't flap around like the old shorts. So I think they'll be good for most of us and I got 4 pairs of larger ones so we can try stuff on on Thursday and then I'll exchange/buy more as needed.

Getting the socks swapped too, phew!

Yeah - and I only tried on one of the smaller pairs, not the larger ones. And even then they were on over my jeans. Hopefully it'll just encourage players to stay slim :-) but then like you say it's the issue of your thigh-girth...

We'll see, but it all looks quite smart and good quality, except the socks, which are blue but even when we get the right colour ones they look as though someone's nan has knitted them.
The kit looks good. The test for the shorts will be if they manage to fit my tree trunks most other people will be fine....
Our new kit has arrived...

Bit of an issue with the socks (Navy and yellow rather than black and yellow) so they're going back and a potential issue with the shorts (they look kinda small) so we'll all try a pair on on Thursday night and see if we need to get different sizes or not. I tried a pair on over my jeans and they felt fine, they just look small when you hold them up... Hopefully they'll be fine.

A Cub Scouts jamboree during one of the most important moments in Shefford F.C.'s history?

WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?!

Breaking NDSFL news!

Shefford FC in discussions with West Berkshire County Council about a groundshare agreement at Fortress Northcroft.

Two newly elected clubs are bidding for a lucrative groundshare agreement with Shefford FC at their Fortress Northcroft home.

Details were leaked by the council when Asst Manager Shane Bellamy phoned up to enquire about booking a pitch for an upcoming friendly.

The unnamed source at the council said "Hold on, I've dropped my pen" but then went on to explain that The Lion are frontrunners for the groundshare given the pub's proximity to the ground. Shefford squads of old have been known to drink in The Lion after games, but as it's a bit minging and the new owners aren't as good as the old owners they don't tend to do that anymore.

The NDSFL were unavailable for comment as senior figures were hosting a Cub Scouts jamboree at a private residence at the time.

Oh, and it seems that there are no pitches readily available for friendlies with the possible exception of Bucklebury. Shefford's board have attempted to make contact with the necessary people to secure a booking...

Okay I've booked The Raj in Reading for 6.30pm on Saturday 18th August, for 15 people.

I know that's a little early but I figured by the time we've got there, eaten and done the presentations it'd be nice to have time for a few beers afterwards. Plus if people have difficulty getting there for that time cos they work Saturdays then we can always move it back a bit, easier than trying to move it forwards.

So there.
