If anyone's interested, £36 return on the train (from Basingstoke - not sure about Newbury) to Torquay.

Smurfy and I already have our tickets booked. It'd cost me about that much in petrol and now I don't have to sit in any traffic, or stop to have a piss, or crap myself if the cops see me doing over 100mph with a can of stella in my hand.

Oh, and by the way, the B&B is strictly non-smoking (you get kicked out with no refund if you smoke) but I said I didn't think that would be a problem as none of us are smokers are we? Don't think I've seen anyone lighting up on a night out.

Either way, get the train, it's the only way to fly...
