By the way, I went past Broadways on the way back on Sunday and it's now "The Clocktower Inn" and was open. However there are no games to watch on Sunday afternoon cos it's Easter so there are games Saturday and Monday. Stupid Jesus.

Was looking back at the results to see if we have been top of the league since day one. We haven't. We went top after the second game of the season, the record-setting 11-0 victory over Coopers Arms. And we've been top since. [And, whatever happens, will be now until the last game of the season, which will be the only time when Q Ass can possibly bump us. Not letting that happen.]

[[ADDITIONAL: In fact, I've just looked at the fixtures below and if we lose to Shalbourne, Q Ass and Wagon, and Q Ass beat us, Shalbourne and Bucklebury, it will leave us, on the last day of the season, needing to beat LMP to win the league.]]

But anyway, top of the league before us (and I hope they celebrated it) was Meadway, with an opening day 7-0 win against LMP. I wonder if they got themselves all excited, only to be spanked 7-1 the next game by Berkshire "Huh?" Arms...
