Just wanted to let people know - at the moment we have 5 subs again on Sunday, which means again that 2 people won't play. I am dropping myself to cut it down to 4 subs, but that means one person might turn up and not get a game. It's Newy's birthday on Saturday night, so if he's completely fucked then it might be him, but I'll let him make that decision rather than making it for him.

As for team selection, as it's only the second game of the season, I will be juggling the squad a bit to let some of the guys that were sub or didn't play last week get a game this week. Consequently, obviously this means that some guys who did start last week won't start this week.

As everybody knows, nobody can be faulted for their performance last week, everyone was on top form, so it's a shame that people have to lose out, but alas the rules state only 11 players on the pitch. Also, with the players who were sub/left out last week, it obviously leaves certain positions more at risk than others.

I'm sorry to have to leave anyone out, but someone has to make the decision - if last season is anything to go by it doesn't take long before the squad seems to sort itself out naturally. Take next week for example, when we have about 6 people available to start the game.

I know everyone just wants to play, but last year there was only Browny who didn't really get much footy at all. Bear with me for a little while until it starts to sort itself out, then if you're not getting as much as you feel you need, we'll have to discuss it. I've had those discussions in the past, and with people who are still here and playing some of the best footy they've ever played, so don't despair if you starting on the bench on Sunday.

Cheers,

SB
