Incredibly small head.

I think I know what you mean Neil, it's just being more positive when going for the ball, so that if there's a man half in your way, you go for the ball anyway and bump em a bit. That way next time the ball's coming towards them they're not so comfortable controlling it, gets their head down...

That has been once of the differences, and was quite a poor area last night in the first half, we were getting bumped as soon as the ball was at our feet (or before) but we were backing off them and letting them get the ball under. Trouble is, I don't necessarily want to change the way we defend because for the last two seasons our defence has been amongst the best in the league, but sometimes a little closer attention might be beneficial - like you say, maybe early in the game. Add to that no silly free-kick giveaways and you can see why it's no fun being a Shefford defender...
