Crabbeman played in a friendly against Travellers Friend and reckons they were quite good. But if you think about Div 2, all the quality dropped out of it. The better teams last season were Hermitage, Monument and Mobile Streams. This season we saw the Hermitage squad with most of their better players on the sidelines cos they're getting on a bit. Monument and Mobile Streams battled it out to come bottom, so it would have been a much easier division to play in.

I have no idea what'll go on over the summer with regards to the league set up. It's been known before for 4th place to be promoted, but I would seriously doubt that will happen. If WKD fold then they might even keep TVS down, that's also been done. It all depends on how many other clubs drop out and how many clubs of legitimate quality have applied to join. Have to wait and see what the general census of opinion is at the AGM - Mikey have you got any idea when that is this year? Usually June some time. I'll have a look through my stuff.
