Woah woah woah! I'm not backing out, that was just a rumour about the Thursday night. Nope, I'll be there, bright and early on Friday morning, with my thumb out hoping to be picked up by a Monster Truck to take me down to The Land of the Surf.
I nearly had a ticket for England vs Sweden, but then I realised that it wasn't a ticket, it was a remote control, and rather than being at the ground, it was on my telly. And rather than it being England vs Sweden, it was Big Brother.
Quite disappointing in the end.

Just looked at the Touareg, it's a monster! Looks plenty spaceful inside and if Mr Sills is backing out and going down on the Thursday night instead it means I can really stretch out and change seats at will. Sounds good.
Not long to go now - really need that weekend. And, Julie just got a ticket to go with Vodafone to see England v Sweden live! How unfair is that? I think it's the God of football rewarding her for all those Sunday mornings stood watching us lot. Just like he rectified the Gerrard dive last night by making Lampard miss it. He moves in mysterious ways - still waiting to see what the f*** he's up to with Wimbledon...

Hi all, been a while since I been on here. Bit of a change of plan with the car Shane, I am getting a new one next week. Not a convertible due to having a child on the way not really the most appropriate car. Im getting the new one this Friday which is a VW Tourag. So there will be alot more room for us to drive down and in just as much style and comfort.
Smurf, Ill give you the £5 i owe you at Newquay mate, unless i see you before then.

Soon adds up doesn't it? Trouble is, cos it's a lot of people each with relatively small amounts you run the risk of getting into the "I'll pay you next time I see you" and then you and they both forget about it. So you've done the right thing, I used to run out between £300 and £400 out of pocket each season but fully admit that that was my fault for not chasing it up or not asking for it in the first place.
But you've got a family to support and an alcohol problem. Luckily, the squad is made up of decent enough blokes so I'm sure you'll have no problem, you just need to not worry about chasing people for the cash.
Speaking of which, how do you want it? I can send you a cheque, send you cash, wire the money into your account if you give me the details or wait and give you the money in person, although obviously that might not be until Newquay...
Let me know mate and I'll pay up.

Cheers, I'll book it off work today.
I going down with Lewis, Ad, and Tony. Not sure who's driving yet though. My car won't make it and Tony's is currently off road!
I hope it's sunny, cause that probably means it'll be fairly nice for the rest of the weekend, and not bloody raining. The wind and rain were the only reasons I was pants at surfing, this year I'm gunna be grrr..eat.
I'm looking forward to it, added bonus with a few world cup games on the box.
I hope there's only two of you travelling down, because it'll a long trip squashed in the back seats...!

Yes Friday 16th. Who are you travelling with? I'm hoping for sunny weather cos I'm in Browny's cabriolet and am buying a new pair of sunnies to wow the gnarly babes as we cruise through town.
Plus, with the roof down I can shout abuse at the sister-shagging locals without fear of anyone damaging my car, safely parked a hundred miles away.

Me and Lewis are trying to oganise some shirts for Newquay. They'll set everyone back a 5er each. Basically theyre for a bit of a laugh. But we need to know if people want them or not. If we don't have enough yes's then we won't bother but can you let me, smurf or lewis know asap as we have to order them up and get the printed on as well before 14th June. Thanks.

I've had the media following me around for days, might give a Press conference later. Page 9 of the Mirror was my fav pic of me, although me hair is a bit out of place. As for that girl, I didn't even notice her, I couldn't have told you any of the other people in the photo except our group. My eyes were solely fixed on the screen for 2 hours, and then on posing for my demanding audience.
Sillsy you're famous! For jumping around like a Newcastle fan and then holding your head in your hands like a Newcastle manager later on. I like the way that when Barca scores Crabbeman looks like he's either going to the bar to drown his sorry or the toilets to drown himself. Must have been bad getting caught on camera with that tasty bird next to you as well...

May I be the first to offer my sympathies to the Arsenal fans among us.
I thought the ref was quite weak at times but not biased.
I thought it might have been better if he'd allowed the Barca goal and let the game carry on with both teams having 11 men.
I thought Arsenal played extremely well for the first 40 minutes but in the end Barca's class did show and it was a fair result that Arsenal should feel proud of - but wonder what might have been if they'd had 11 men for the full game.
And Ronaldinho is one ugly sonofabitch.

I fecking hate Chav Friend....
Match Report for Travellers Friend - Travellers Friend 3 Shefford 1Attendance: 30 Man of the match: Stuart Crease Team Formation: 4-4-2
Travellers Friend 3 Shefford 1 Travellers Friend won 3 1 to end up champions for the 2nd time in 3 years, but had to win 16 league games in a row to beat two good teams in Hermitage Reserves and Hamstead Norreys. Travellers Friend fell behind when a long ball bounced over Ian Weekes and was passed to a Shefford player whom hit a good shot at goal which managed to go through Doug Dansie's legs. Travellers Friend pushed forward and won a penalty which was hit well by Martyn Benson but was well saved by David Lewis who had made some good saves before the penalty. Ian Weekes made up for his mistake by running the length of the pitch and taking the ball passed 3 of the shefford players to then pass the ball through two defenders to Steven Crame who sloted home just before half time. 2nd half Travellers Friend started the better half with Stuart Creese, Ian Weekes, G.Gower and Steven Bisset not letting anything past them in defence. Travellers Friend won a free kick on the 18yd box which the Ref said could be taken quickly, but a Shefford player stopped this happening as the Ref told the player to move back Martyn Benson saw a gap and slotted the ball just in the post which was allowed to stand and upset some of the Shefford players. Andy Holly won the ball in midfield to set up Steven Crame to score his 2nd of the game and his 46th of the season. Nigel Holmes hit a slammer of a shot just to see it hit the crossbar and rebound to Matty Grantham who just managed to put it back into the Keepers hand. Shefford had to push forward as they needed a draw to stay up. David Lewis came out of goal to put more fire power up front, but was man marked by Steven Bisset who did a good job. Travellers Friend played out the last 10 minutes to win 3 1. man of the match Stuart Creese - none stop running.

Very good Shane.
There once was a guy called Shane,
who was a constant pain.
He tried to write a song,
But got it completely wrong.
And now everyone knows he's insane!!!!
or
Shefford had a player called Shane,
Whose songs were very lame.
He thought he was a striker,
but looked more like a gay-biker.
And now at weekends likes to be called Jane!!!!

Mr Grundy I can come to your party but I'm afraid I can't do the go-karting thing. To soften the blow of the go-karting news, I have written you a song to take your mind off it.
Grundy Grundy Grundy,
You light up the room with your smile,
You go the extra mile,
But you're fucking surname doesn't rhyme with much,
La la la
Grundy Grundy Grundy,
You're too good to make do
With pants rhymes like Monday or Sunday
You should change your fucking name
La la la
Grundy Grundy Grundy,
Have you heard of Barramundi?
It's a fish
Very popular dish
In Australia la la
Grundy Grundy Grundy
Eating Barramundi
Driving a Hyundai
Change your fucking name
La la la
Repeat to fade.
Sillsy, guitar accompaniment needed. You don't get a solo.

Sounds like it was an improved performance at least. And you were right to have a go at the ref, if he's gonna wave a player away from the ball then he has to then make the other team wait for the whistle.
We keep getting stung with stuff like that (well, once every other season) and we never seem to get those breaks ourselves do we?
Ah well. I guess it's just a wait to see what happens with the Henwick points and what happens with the league structure to see what div we're in next season.
I'm sorry I've really not been around much if at all this season - I am taking steps to remedy this though for next season.
Predictions for the cup final? I reckon West Ham will battle their hardest but will find themselves outclassed for a 3-1 Liverpool win...

Morning chaps, back from Mexico, though I'm afraid I can't make Sunday's game. I take it there was no game last weekend then? We're still 2nd bottom on goal difference and with Chav Friend needing to win to secure the league (how the fuck?) it could be a tricky one.
Here's a strategy for you, they need a point to win the league, we need a point to stay up (we believe). I suggest you take hand puppets to explain it to them. Trouble is, they'll obviously fancy beating us with some ease, so we need to make it worthwhile to them. That's where Sillsy comes in, I suggest dressing him up as an arabian princess and offering them to him as a gift if they agree to draw the game.
Good luck everybody.
