Paul that number doesn't seem to work, just keep getting someone asking me who I'm looking for.

I think the way it works with Neil up front is probably the best we're going to get. He dropped back in naturally when required, I just need to run him into the ground on Thursdays so he's got the fitness to get up and be a striker mere seconds after he's been back on our 18yd line defending. I'm certainly not saying he's unfit, but he's going to need to be virtually superhuman, kind of like John and Dave. (Sills and Crabbe I mean) (- hehe, Lamb and Lewis, as if...)

I guess the only solution is extra murder runs for Neil. I'd like to see him do one properly to see how far up the ranking he can come - he always seems to join Colin for a chat while they gently jog along... Very pleasant I'm sure. (I still only just beat them.) Right, so we're all agreed then, extra murder runs for Neil. Good thinking Paul.

I find your lack of faith in John Sills' notching ability disturbing. Perhaps it's because John played more in the centre of midfield, which last season was there to mess up other teams rather than create too much ourselves. [That's an area I'll be working on this season, getting the centre of midfield still messing up other teams, but offering more creativity to the strikers.] Perhaps they should have a bet on the number of assists. Perhaps all our midfielders should have that bet. We just need to remind ourselves of the goals after the game - My decision (Genghis' decision in my absence) on who gets the assist is final and I'll make a note in the book. Tot it up at Christmas and then at the end of the season.

What do the midfield boys reckon?
