G'day Shane. Good to hear from you on the other side of the world. None of us are jealous you know...
This is Westwoods write up from the game on Sunday - on that Yellow Jersey site.
Shefford out-muscle poor Westwood
Attendance: 15
Man of the match: Simon Wolfenden
Team Formation: 4-4-2
Westwood slumpped to defeat at the hands of a work-man-like Shefford outfit. From the opening whistle Shefford battled hard, and closed down the Westwood players at every oppertunity, and this clearly didn't suit, with Westwood loosing posession on numberous occasions throughout the game.
The hosts scored early in each half, the first the defence allowed their striker to turn and run un-challenged through to net, the second, a free header after a corner was half-cleared. Westwood only tested Shefford's keeper once during the whole game, with a good shot by Dan Collins, which the keeper did very well to palm round the post.

Congrats boys it's a great rise up the table and good to hear the news reported on Aussie Sports Channels over here. Shame no game this week to keep the momentum going but that just means more effort in training this week and next I guess. I'm doing my bit over here by drinking beer and eating prawns. If you can't see exactly how that's helping that's ok, in time you will.
Good to see from the table that nobody is unbeatable too. Sky's the limit.
Off for another stubbie. These short girls are easy pickings.

Well played again sunday boys, great team effort battled all over the pitch worked well for each other and played some nice stuff at times. The passing and movement was good making it easy for each other. The back for was an organised solid unit and Woody chipped in with a couple of good saves and it is good to see his confidence rising with every game.
Plus i feel that ref was the best one we have had all season.

No Frewy you can't claim MOM for the 2nd round as our defence stood solid and kept a clean sheet so it will go to 1 of the back 4 and even if you backed up Matts claim of a hat-trick the story would be so far-fetched that nobody would believe you.....now if you said he missed 3 sitters that would be different.

Gents,
Good result on Sunday, good to see you are missing the 2002/2003 Div Two Champions Central Midfielders...!
I've decided not to continue the Sven debate for now, we can hold off for a while I think.
Nige, you are a legend, there is a shrine set up for you in the middle of Reading, pointing to London as you will be returning there. Oh hang on, that's Queen Victoria. Sorry, I was thinking of you in your cross dressing days.
All should visit http://www.wimp.com/invading/
it's a small video, safe for work. Unless you work for Americans.
